FileMenu Tools is a program that you can use to customize the Explorer right-click menu. It can be easily installed and configured, even by less experienced users. The interface of the application is based on a standard window with an intuitive layout. So, you can arrange entries when it comes to context menu commands, Send To menu, and commands of other applications.
FileMenu Tools allows you to add commands, submenus and separators, as well as remove entries from the list. But you can also reconfigure general properties when it comes to the action, menu text, description, icon, element types, file extensions, folders, drives, modifier keys, arguments, working folder, multiple instances, and administrative mode.
Settings can be exported to an INI or REG file for further processing. FileMenu Tools runs on a low-to-moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time, supports two languages for the interface, and contains user documentation.
No error dialogs have been displayed during our evaluation and FileMenu Tools did not freeze or crash. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, the apps features can be seamlessly figured out. All in all, FileMenu Tools provides a straightforward and efficient way to manage context menu entries and actions.
The main features are the following:
• Add some built-in utilities that perform operations on files and folders. These utilities are explained below in more detail.
• Add custom commands which run a specific action. The possible actions are the following:
- Run external applications
- Copy/move to a specific folder
- Delete specific file types
- Send the selected files as attachments to e-mail recipient(s)
- Rename the selected files using a set of rules
• Configure the "Send to..." submenu
• Enable/disable commands which are added by other applications to the context menu
New in version 6.7 (2015-01-22):
• Added option to custom commands to convert the paths in arguments to URL format.
• Improved Create New Folder: multiple folders may be created at the same time and variables may be specified for the folder name.
• Pack to Folder: several folder levels may be specified with the backslash character.
• Advanced Renamer: the profiles are sort alphabetically.
• Copy to: the modification time of the copied folders is kept.
• Added variable %INSTALLFOLDERPATH% for the custom commands. This variable is the full path where FileMenu Tools is installed.
• Improved Delete empty folders: the system protected folders are ignored.
• Improved Delete empty folders: you may set if ignore the hidden files.
• Fixed bug in Copy Internet Path: when the scheme was "file", then a slash was added at the end incorrectly.
• Fixed bug in Split files: did not work properly for files with little size.
• Fixed bug in Change Time: the time of selected folders was not changed, only the subfolders.

Another important feature of Webmaster is that it reminds you of any crawl error which may have been introduced unintentionally. When you open the dashboard, you see three options with the leftmost being the Crawl Errors section. Here, you can check if there is any URL on your site which is inaccessible.
In case there are no crawl errors, then things are fine. But if you do see a crawl error, it is important to remove those defunct URLs so that they do not appear in search engine results. These errors are usually 404 Not Found errors, which means that for some reason, that particular URL does not exist. So, here is how you remove them:
1. Login to your Google WebMasters account and click on Crawl Errors. You will see all the URLs which are erroneous.
2. Copy the URL. Now go to Remove URLs under Google Index in the left menu. Create a new removal request, paste the URL and submit it. Your request will be submitted and will be shown as Pending.
3. Do the same for every faulty URL.
4. Once you have submitted removal request for each URL, under Crawl Errors, tick each URL and click on Mark as Fixed. With this, the URL’s will now no longer be shown.
5. After some days, you will see that WebMaster will stop showing you any crawl errors, which means that your defunct URLs have been removed successfully.
NOTE: It is important that you fix crawl errors. This will ensure that your organic search results do not take a beating. So, if you have any errors, remove them rightaway.
