0x80070057 Error during Windows 7 installation
- This error occurs if you try to install 64-bit OS into 32-bit PC.
- Before installing 64-bit OS, make sure that your PC is 64-bit capable including motherboard and processor.
- If you get this error even though if your processor is 64-bit capable then your motherboard doesnt support the OS, especially in laptops.
- To avoid this error you must install 32-bit OS / recommended 32-bit OS like Home Premium for specific laptops since in laptops you cannot upgrade to new OS and it may cause this error (or) similar error codes.
